This website is to promote authors, benefit readers, and make it a fun place to enjoy. Romance Alley is for authors to promote their books, benefit from the writing tips published authors are offering, and for readers to enjoy contests, information about romance novels, and the free reads.

The following are the free promotion services for authors: Contact me for your promo requests.

Contests- You will provide the information of your contest, and your book cover. All will be linked to your contact page for readers to give the answers. You will be responsible for sending the prizes for your readers. I will spend time and effort to make it look nice and attractive. Please do not fail in sending the prizes to the readers. After the contest ends the content will be removed.

Author to Author Tips- This is one of the great opportunities I'm offering you as an author to promote your book. This is fantastic for all authors published and unpublished to benefit from. It's like small advice from your tutor, without actually having one. As an author you can write about anything from grammar to writing tips. You will be asked to give a short excerpt from any of your work about the article you are writing about. A book cover and a link to your website will be displayed on RA blog. Don't forget that authors are readers as well.

Free reads- Is there a better way to promote you and your books than having a free read for readers. (Your website will be linked to drive readers to your site for more of your novels.)

Get To Know The Book- This is another way to promote your book, but in a more creative way. You will write something about your story, maybe about one of the characters, or how you got the idea of the story, and provide a short excerpt about the topic you are writing about in your story, or maybe a scene you liked so much. Your book cover will be linked to your website as well. This will be up on RA blog. My purpose of the creative way of introducing you to the readers is to engage them into your story, and feel you as an author, maybe by telling the reader something special in the book; it will intrigue them to buy it. There will be a line limit, I will discuss with the author. A link for your book trailer is free on my blog.

To enter for Treasure Maze contest:

Romance Alley in coordination with Writers Circle forum is doing something totally new.

Romance Alley is adding a new page called Treasure Maze. This will be an on going contest page for readers and authors.

The aim is to attract readers so they have fun getting to know you as an author, while entering to winning free e-books that will include your free short stories. I have created three e-book covers and each book will have three short stories between 1,500-5,000 words, at the end of each story, I will have an interview questionnaire for each of the authors in that book. This page is reserved for their picture (optional), or two of the author's previously released or upcoming releases. A tagline for each book will be included with the cover as well as links to the author's website and the 'sale' point for their book.

This way, not only will the reader have an opportunity to read your free short story, but to get a chance to know how you write. This is a perfect opportunity for them to get introduced to a new author (who wrote the story) and get a glimpse of your other books.

There are three themes for the book covers and stories

1. Hot Between The Sheets (all romance genres except paranormal, rated hot (Up to and including erotic romance)

1. Sizzling Paranormal (Only hot sizzling paranormal romance)

2. Sweet Romance (No more than a kiss, romance that is filled with emotions and enough sexual tension to set the pages on fire without any actual contact.)

In all three we will have book 1, 2, 3…ext as long as there are authors participating we will have more authors, more free short stories, more contests, more readers and fans.

It's hard work on both my part and Writers Circle's part, but we love doing this for our fellow authors, Writers Circle Forum, Romance Alley, readers, and for myself and Patricia Bates as authors as we will participate as well.

Now all we need from you to participate in this free promo is the following:

1. Create three questions for your readers that you want them to have to dig for the answer to. This can be something in an excerpt, a blog post, your personal bio on your website, or your book's page on your publisher's site.

2. Give a link to where they can find the answer for each question. (A beautiful map will be displayed to intrigue those participating into finding the links to the information you provide.)

3. Your book cover for the contest. (Can be a previous release or one that's coming up within the next couple of months.)

4. A short story that is free exclusively for the Treasure Maze Contest 1,500 - 5000 (I'm sure you can do it).

5. A personalized prize for the 1st place winner, can be some bookmarkers, a free e-book, a GC - its up to you. (The winners including the first place winner will win the e-book filled with free short stories from the authors who have/will have on Treasure Maze Contest)

6. We've created a contract for the free short stories to protect your rights with us and ours with you) simple and clear should be filled out and emailed to us as an approval. Our email is treasuremaze (at) gmail (dot)com

7. Readers and authors are required to register at www.writerscircle.freeforums.org so you can talk to the readers and build fans. They can discuss your books and get to know more about your next projects. Writers Circle will have chats arranged with publishers, book cover artists, readers, and authors. Another way to interact with all in the same place. Also the announcement of the winners will be at this forum

Think of it as an investment. You will invest a free short story, a prize for one winner from you (You will send it to the winner) and you are in the contest. With each subsequent e-book given out, your free story will be distributed amongst readers allowing them to get a feel for you and your style. With the entry into the contest and participation you are helping to build your brand, your reader following.

3. The authors who are taking part in the contest, 1-2 max in one contest in a month.

That is 4 people who will advertise for the contest on all their promo resources from Facebook, twitter, readers/writes loops, email lists. All that while you are doing whatever you are doing and your story may be picked from the three e-books I will have for the winners.

Reviews- This is a free service for authors will come to my site soon.

For authors-Authors who may be interested in advertising their nonfiction books about writing skills they can provide a banner, or book cover that will be displayed on the side column of home page and one more page on Romance Alley website the charge is $5.00 for two weeks. Or maybe you would like to advertise an upcoming writing workshop. Also for fiction books same offer. This is one way to grab the attention of other authors who are interested.

New--Book Trailers: For $5 you can place your video trailer for two weeks on Romance Alley. Provide the embedding code for your trailer on youtube. Book trailers done by www.design.suzannahsafi.com are free to display on Romance Alley website.

New--Shining Stars: This is basically a spot on the home page for authors linked with another whole page to tell readers about their achievements, reviews, or rewards, talk about you the author. Are you a bestseller, got a reward for your writing, have a review you want to share, or signing that went excellent for you, do you have a new book release and you would like to announce it here? The sky is your limit; tell us who you are. Showcase your photos or/and book covers on 'Shining Stars'. For two weeks the charge is $15, for one week $8.00 the option is yours.

For Companies-Ads are offered for all the companies that would like to promote their services to authors like (proofreaders, editors, copyedits, writing services, designers, book trailers, and publishers) for this service an affordable charge will apply. Please contact me for the rates.
